About Us
Families with babies and young children must be able to access the arts. Bach Tots offers families this access adding creativity, fun and inspiration to life through rich visual performance, high artistic integrity, diverse cultural experience, in a "fuss-friendly" setting.
Founded in 2011, Bach Tots is a one of a kind program that runs a regular season of dance-for-young audiences in Calgary and area, tours throughout Alberta for festivals and events, and has performed most recently at a festival in Manama, Bahrain. Jenny Repond Peters MFA, PMP

Jenny has a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies (University of Calgary) and a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Queens University). She has created, directed and produced six Bach Tots signature shows since Bach Tots was founded in 2011. These shows have been presented nationally, and internationally.
Outside of Bach Tots she has worked with Evergreen Theatre, Trickster Theatre, Ghost River Theatre, One Yellow Rabbit and the University of Calgary. She has been involved in dance and theatre as a producer, educator, creator, director, choreographer and performer for over 20 years.

Jenny has been an Education Associate with Arts Commons, Canada's 3rd largest performing arts centre for 5 years in 2016-2021. She led, designed and managed hundreds of projects with teachers working with Kindergarten to Gr. 12, including over 100 projects with Campus Calgary Open Minds. She has facilitated and programmed over 100 workshops for teachers with the Calgary City Teachers' Convention.

Jenny is also an e-learning specialist and works with Absorb Software. Having learned much about the Learning and Development sector as a whole, she sees great potential in democratizing arts education through e-learning best practices. This has fueled her most recent passion, Bach Tots Academy, which provides self-paced and instructor-led training resources, through online mediums, to early childhood educators and teaching artists working with children aged 3-6. Her hope is to empower educators to bring the performing arts into their daily practice, allowing children to thrive through movement, creative expression, and play.
Jenny also holds a Professional Project Management Certification (PMP®). Jenny has led and delivered over 30+ projects and events for Bach Tots/Soulocentric Performing Arts (the operating company). She continues to lead the organization working with a roster of artists on a project-to-project basis.
